SHILLONG: Michael Pakyntein, former supporter of Shillong West MLA Paul Lyngdoh, has maintained that there has been misappropriation of public funds through the purchase of certain materials by the MLA and implementation committee.
In the wake of the proprietor of M/S enterprise coming out in the open by stating that it is not a ghost enterprise, Pakyntein said, “I have nothing against the proprietor but stand my ground that as per documents received from the office of Shillong Municipal Board it is a ghost enterprise.”
Pakyntein urged the Chief Secretary, who is the Chief Vigilance Officer, to look into the alleged misappropriation of fund by the MLA and the implementation committee seriously.
