KSU for anti-narcotics team in SWKH

MAWKYRWAT: The Khasi Student’s Union, Mawkyrwat circle has demanded deployment of anti-narcotics team in the area while expressing concern over the rise in crime related to drug abuse in South West Khasi Hills.
The KSU pointed out that the use of drugs and other type of substances have affected the youth of the area.
KSU Mawkyrwat circle general secretary Rutherford Lyngdoh said the rise in crime in South West Khasi Hills is a cause of concern for all.
The KSU appealed to youngsters to avoid using drugs, while asking parents, Seng Samla Shnong, Seng Longkmie, village defense party and Dorbar Shnong to cooperate with the KSU to check the trend.
