RBI alert
The RBI has urged the public to refrain from giving random information about their bank accounts through phone or email to people who claim to be staff of banks. This was informed by Anandita Bhattarcharya, RBI Banking Ombudsman for northeast at a gathering at Don Bosco Youth Center.
Past pupils’ body
With the aim to contribute towards the overall development of the Ri Bhoi Presbyterian Higher Secondary School, Nongpoh, three past pupils of the school– MG Kharshanlor, Daminot Kharshandi and Matthew Kenneth Makdoh, decided to form an alumni association of the school. In this regard a general meeting of the past pupils will be held in the school on May 2 to elect the office bearers of the alumni association.
Annual day
The Principal, Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya (JNV), Niangbari, Ri Bhoi has informed that the annual day of the School will be held on April 28.
Condolence
The Shillong Bar Association held a condolence meeting on its premises at 12:30 pm on April 21 to condole the demise of Jesterwell Kharir, advocate, who passed away on April 20.
