SHILLONG: The Division Bench of the High Court of Meghalaya will hear the matters related to the education scam case.
The High Court on Tuesday took up the case of some petitioners who were earlier appointed as assistant teachers in the Government Lower Primary Schools but whose services were terminated after passing of the order of a Division Bench of the court in the past and also based on the report of the High Level Scrutiny Committee.
The court said, “When the entire matter relating to the recruitment in question shall now be reconsidered by the Division Bench of this court, it appears just and proper that these matters be also examined along with the Division Bench matters for analogous hearing and comprehensive consideration of all the issues involved.”
Earlier, the Supreme Court had referred the pending case to the High Court for further hearing.
