Education scam case fixed for May 5

SHILLONG: The Division Bench of the High Court of Meghalaya during the hearing of the education scam case on Thursday directed the Advocate General to compile the categories of candidates before the next date of hearing.
The matter will be taken up on May 5.
Sources said the task of the Advocate General will be to categorise the candidates who were selected but shunted, those who were selected and retained and others who were selected but put on waiting list.
The Advocate General has also been asked to prepare the list of all petitioners.
The Division Bench comprising Chief Justice Dinesh Maheshwari and Justice Sudip Ranjan Sen observed that the matter will be heard on merit on May 5.
