Actor Orlando Bloom has spoken of how terror threats made him more concerned about being in public spaces with his six-year-old son. The actor, 40, said recent global attacks, combined with his work on upcoming espionage thriller Unlocked, had heightened his nerves, reports a website. He said: “Sometimes I will be in parks, or big theme parks, with (my son), suddenly I think, ‘Oh, this is a bit… this could be one of those weird places where something…’ Bloom compared the current climate to his training days as a young actor, when he was ‘constantly being pulled off the Tube due to bomb scares…’. Johnny Depp treated fans with a big surprise as the actor appeared as captian Jack Sparrow on a Disney ride. Depp decided to make a guest appearance on the Pirates of the Caribbean ride for a special gig at the Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, California, reported E! Online. The 53-year-old’s appearance came as the ride celebrated its 50th anniversary. ‘Everyone was surprised, shocked and excited to see him. He acted exactly like his character in the movies,’ a source said. Depp is also gearing up for the release of the fifth installment in the ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ series next month. (PTI)
Lady Gaga invites fans to be extras in A Star Is Born
Pop diva Lady Gaga has invited fans to become a part of her upcoming film, A Star Is Born. The 30-year-old songstress took to Twitter where she has asked her admirers to come down to the Greek Theatre on May 2 and 3. Gaga urged them to attend the filming event where the fans have the golden chance to star as the extras in the movie, which also stars actor Bradley Cooper in the lead. ‘Be a part of A Star Is Born with Bradley and me in LA!’ tweeted the Joanne singer. “All you Monsters that can attend should get decked out in your most comfortable denim and boots, throw on a Stetson (leave those pink Joanne hats at home) and come out to show your support,” the website of the theatre states. Proceeds from the ticket sales will go to Gaga’s Born This Way Foundation. (PTI)
