SHILLONG: Fifteen houses in Ri Bhoi district were damaged following by a cyclonic storm that hit the area on Friday night.
The storm lashed over Umden, Nongthymmai, Maikhuli and Pillangkata villages in Ri Bhoi damaging houses.
However, no loss of human life was reported from the district.
Meanwhile, the cyclonic storm forced the MeECL to discontinue power supply in most parts of Shillong on Friday night.
