Appeal to release abducted SWKH labourer unharmed

SHILLONG: The residents of Nongjri, South West Khasi Hills have appealed to the kidnapers to release Dajied Syiem, a labourer engaged as a JCB helper, unharmed.
Syiem was kidnapped recently by suspected Bangladeshi miscreants. The headman of Umsur village, Nasar Marwein along with other village heads of the surrounding area of Nongjri said the incident has created panic among the people of the area.
The people of the area urged the kidnapers to release him unharmed. Dajied hails from Umthied village under Mairang Block, West Khasi Hills.
