UDP against power cuts during exams

SHILLONG: UDP has criticised the State Government for imposing power cuts when the students are preparing for their respective examinations.
In a statement on Tuesday, Allantry Franklin Dkhar, vice president, UDP said that it is inconvenient and disturbing for the students who are  preparing for their respective exams and especially  for those whose exams are ongoing and bereft of alternative facilities for lighting in view of the continued load shedding of MeECL The party asked the authorities to take note and review their routine so as to not disrupt and disturb the student community.
