EJH, Tyrsad Sec School win on Day 3 of CAPF football tourney

SHILLONG: East Jaintia Hills (EJH) District Sports Association rode on four goals from Rushia Dkhar to register a convincing 7-0 victory over Lawsohtun SC on day 3 of the Assam Rifles CAPF Under-19 Football Talent Hunt Tournament for Meghalaya at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium here on Wednesday. In the other girls’ match in Group B, Tyrsad Secondary School defeated Mawpdang SC 5-0. The first is a boys’ Group A game between Assam Rifles Public School and Wahingdoh FC at 11:30am, followed by two girls’ Group A fixtures at 1 pm between Laitkor SC and Mawryngkneng SC and Umsning SC versus Umiuh SC at 2:30pm. The boys from KV Happy Valley and Nongstoin District Sports Association round out proceedings with a Group A match at 3:45pm.
