SHILLONG: The enrollment for Aadhaar in East Khasi Hills district is set to begin this month.
Officials dealing with the matter said Avvas Infotech Private Limited, the implementing agency, must coordinate with the DC office and visit different places for enrollment.
The details of the National Population Register (NPR) will be considered before enrollment. However, applicants who are not under NPR can produce other documents, including EPIC.
The firm will charge Rs 39-40 per enrollment and the Centre has already provided fund for the project.
