NONGPOH: The Tbeh Jingshai Lower & Upper Primary School, Umkon, Ri Bhoi, which was set up by a women’s self help group, celebrated its 10th anniversary on Friday.
Local MLA DD Lapang was the chief guest on the occasion. Ri Bhoi Deputy Commissioner CP Gotmare was the guest of honour. The school was established in 2007 with an aim to impart education to underprivileged children. Apart from imparting modern education the school trais its students in various other skill-development activities like floriculture, sericulture etc.
