TURA: The All Garo Hills Muster Roll Workers’ Association (AGHMRWA) of the PHE Department has submitted a memorandum to the Executive Engineer in Tura regarding their long pending demand for service regularisation.
The services of the muster roll workers including those who have been with the department for the last 20 to 30 years have not been regularised and they continue to depend on their daily wages to run their families.
In order to take up the demand in a stronger manner, new units of the Association have also been created at Williamnagar, Baghmara, Resubelpara and Ampati.
