Nongkhlieh JHADC MDC says will contest from Raliang

JOWAI: JHADC MDC Richard Sing Lyngdoh has decided to contest the 2018 elections from Raliang constituency.
Lyngdoh, who is an independent member of the district council representing Nongkhlieh seat, announced this at a meeting held at Kyndongtuber on Saturday.
Sources said the Dorbar Shnong of Kyndongtuber is also supporting Lyngdoh, who will contest against Congress MLA Coming One Ymbon. But the former has not decided about joining a political party.
Meanwhile, Jowai constituency, currently represented by veteran Congress leader R.C Laloo, will have a new contestant in Wailadmiki Shylla of Mukhla.
Among the possible four candidates in Jowai are Marki Mulieh of BJP and Moonlight Pariat of UDP.
In Khliehriat, MLA Justine Dkhar might face Kyrmen Shylla of Deinshynrum.
Shylla, who is the son of former MDC Kor Sympli, is likely to contest from UDP.
In Mowkaiaw constituency, MLA Robinus Syngkon, former MDC Gilbert Sten and a new contestant, Nehimayah Tyngkan, are likely faces.
