SHILLONG: The United Democratic Party (UDP) will hold its Central Executive Committee (CEC) meeting on May 25 to discuss the review petition of four MDCs.
The district council members – Donkupar Sumer, Albinus Lyngdoh, Teinwell Dkhar and Equator Nongrang – had appealed to CEC to review its April 17 decision to withdraw support to the P.N Syiem-led coalition in the Khasi Hills Autonomous District Council.
UDP working president Bindo M. Lanong said the party will consider new developments before taking a final decision.
“We are not rigid and we have to listen to the MDCs as they are elected members,” he added.
