BSF seizes 113 cattle from different districts of State

SHILLONG: The BSF has seized cattle numbering 113 on two separate occasions.
A statement from the BSF on Saturday said that the troops deployed at Lyngkhat in East Khasi Hills (EKH), has launched a special operation and prevented 18 cattle from being smuggled to Bangladesh.
In similar incidents, the troops deployed at Nayabazar, Umsiem and Tuka (EKH) and Muktapur in West Jaintia Hills and Rajai, Gumaghat, South West Khasi Hills and Dumdama, South Garo Hills seized 95 cattle on International Border.
