Body recovered
Body of 20 year old Johnnyfirst Syiemiong of Lumbiang village, Umroi (RB) was recovered from near M/s Rymbai Petrol Pump, Mawlai, Shillong with injury marks on the head.
One found unconscious
On May19 at around 6 pm, one Joydeep Deb Das (40) was found lying unconscious at Mawlai Iewrynghep, Shillong. He was shifted to Civil Hospital, Shillong where he is admitted for treatment.
Assault
Ency Shadap lodged a complaint that on May 17 at around 5 pm, a group of people led by one Wuni Pala assaulted the complainant, his brother Kalanstar Shadap and Edwin Syrti at Soo Kilo (EJH) causing grievous injuries to the victims.
FIR for mixing petrol
Forestman D Shira lodged a complaint that on May 15, the employees of M/s Super Energy Point Petrol Pump, Mendipathar North Garo Hills were selling petrol mixed with diesel.
Coal laden truck uses two numbers
R.G. Momin, Enforcement Inspector lodged a complaint that on May 15 around 12.30 am, one coal laden truck (AS-18-4180) fled away without entering the Sarangma Weighbridge for weighing (NGH). On chasing the truck, it was found abandoned near DMR Check Gate and found that the truck was using two registration numbers AS-18-4130 and AS-18-4180. The truck was seized and kept at Dainadubi OP (NGH).
Restricted area breached
B.T. Sangma, Superintending Engineer (C), MePGCL, Tura, West Garo Hills lodged a complaint that on April 24, at around 11 am, a group of people from Rongkhon and its surrounding areas, Tura, West Garo Hills, entered the restricted area of 132 KV station at Rongkhon, Tura and the office complex of MePGCL, forcibly stopped boring works for deep tube well, threatened to burn down the drilling machine and warned the workers of dire consequences. They also entered the office chamber of the complainant and abused her with filthy language.
