USTM Block
Conrad Sangma, MP Tura Parliamentary Constituency and James K Sangma, MLA, West Garo Hills district will lay the foundation of PA Sangma Block at University of Science & Technology, Meghalaya (USTM) on May 24 at 10:30 am in the USTM Conference Hall, Administrative Block.

The DC (Supply), East Khasi Hills has informed Public Consumers of the district that whole-meal Atta (Tide Over) for the month of May is being distributed through the Fair Price Shops as per scale of 1 kg 920 grams at Rs 8.00 per kg. Non supply or overcharging of the rate by the suppliers must be brought to the notice of the DC.

Marathon
The Khasi Jaintia Welfare Association in collaboration with Khasi Jaintia Presbyterian Girl’s Higher Secondary School, Mission Compound will organise a marathon on May 27 for four different age categories to mark the Quasquicentennial celebration of the school, under the theme ‘Run for sustainable future’.

Police candidates
The Inspector General of Police (TAP) cum Chairman, CRB, Shillong has informed that the list of candidates eligible for personal interview for various posts in Meghalaya Police as published on May 17, was drawn by adding the marks of Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Bonus Marks and Written Examination. The marks for PET were published in the Meghalaya Police website every day after completion of the test and are still available in the website.
