SHILLONG: The Meghalaya Board of School Education (MBoSE) has called a meeting on Thursday to discuss the SSLC results leak online.
The top 20 list of the Secondary School leaving Certificate was leaked on Monday night, around 12 hours before the official declaration of the results by the Board.
MBoSE Executive Chairman Pravin Bakshi said the Board would conduct an internal inquiry into the matter and the details would be discussed on Thursday.
MBoSE will also make efforts to identify the sources from where the results were leaked from its cyber wing.
Asked if the Board would file a police complaint, Bakshi said the Board is contemplating filing an FIR but is awaiting more details and proof before that.
The Board is not ruling out the possibility of its website being hacked.
The Board, which conducts Classes X and XII examinations, has been criticised by civil society organisations and political parties because this was not the first time that such episode took place.
In the past, the Board was in the news over leakage of question papers.
