13-yr-old missing
A minor boy, Ashley Diengdoh (13) was reported missing from his residence at Nongthymmai, Wahthio, Shillong, since May 26.

Students missing
Three boys, Albinus K Syiemiong (19), Kipa Bucho (18) and Senrak Marak (18) were reported missing from St. John White Hall at Dumdum, Nongthymmai, since May 24.

BSF personnel assaulted
On May 25 around 11 am, one BSF Sub-Inspector identified as Sagar Chettri was assaulted by the public at Baghmara Bazar, South Garo Hills.

Two held for illegal sale of sugar
On May 24, police arrested two persons, Diganta Koch and Saljing Sangma for illegally selling PDS sugar and also recovered 275 packets of sugar (25 kgs each), meant for Gokolgre village.

Coal trucks detected
On May 24, Khliehriat Police detected four coal laden trucks, ML-04B-1161, ML-04C-1912, AS-01AC-6117 and AS-01DC-0977, suspected of transporting coal beyond permissible limit, in violation of NGT order.
