SHILLONG: The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a weather warning stating that heavy to very heavy rain is likely at a few places with extremely heavy fall at isolated places over Assam and Meghalaya on May 30 and 31.
Furthermore, the IMD has issued a weather warning whereby a squally wind speed 45-55 kmph gusting to 65 kmph would prevail over south Assam on May 30. People have been asked to remain alert.
