U-18 football: Langsning drub Wahingdoh in tournament opener

SHILLONG: Langsning drubbed Wahingdoh FC 4-0 in the opening encounter of the U-18 Premier League for the Premiere Divisions Clubs at Ground III, Polo on Monday.
Langsning struck two goals each in either half to take full points from the first match of the season.
Figo Syndai opened the scoring for a dominant Langsning side in the 19th minute while Arnesius Marwein doubled the lead in the 24th minute.
Crossing over, Risuk Marbaniang made it 3-0 in favour of Langsning in the 54th minute. Nine minutes later Stephenson Pala found the back of the net to complete the 4-0 drubbing of Wahingdoh.
On Tuesday Rangdajied United FC will take on Boys Sporting Company at 4pm.
