Voda tower theft
Miscreants stole 24 batteries from the Vodafone tower at Mawlai, Mawdatbaki, Pata, Shillong on the night of June 2.
1 dies in road mishap
One person died when a dumper dashed against a trailer at Umtyra in East Jaintia Hills around 11.30pm on May 25. Shanborlang Dkhar, who was driving the dumper sustained injuries and was admitted in Khliehriat CHC where he succumbed to injuries.
