Three persons electrocuted in TN following rains

Coimbatore/Thanjavur, Jun 7(PTI) Three persons including two teenaged brother and sister were electrocuted in two sepearate incidents in Tamil Nadu, in the wake of rains, police said. Banuma (16) and Salman (18) were electrocuted, when they came into contact with a live wire snapped on the terrace of their house in Coimbatore, following heavy wind and rains today. In a similar incident in Thanjavur district, a 55-year-old farmer was electrocuted after he stepped on a live wire in his paddy field, last night, they said. Several parts of the state were lashed by rains which caused inundation ona arterial roads. PTI
