DAVP organises mega exhibition in city

SHILLONG: A mega exhibition being organised by the Directorate of Advertising and Visual Publicity (DAVP), Shillong Unit began here on Wednesday.
The five-day exhibition was inaugurated by G. Panmei, Commissioner Central GST for North East.
The theme of the exhibition is “Saath hai, vishwaas hai, ho raha vikaas hai”.
Speaking at the inaugural event, Panmei said the government has several policies and programmes where the common people are the beneficiaries. He added that exhibitions like these help in increasing awareness among the masses on the policies of the government.
The exhibition will remain open to the public up to Sunday.
The exhibitions organised by DAVP are being put up across state capitals for a duration of 5-7 days to showcase the achievements of the Central government in the last 3 years.
