KHADC summer session
The Summer Session of the KHADC will begin on June 20. However, the duration of the session is yet to be known as the same has not been fixed, Chairman of KHADC LG Nongsiej said.
Poetry competition
The All India Poetess Conference (AIPC), Meghalaya Chapter will organize the 7th Meghalaya Poetry Competition in English, Khasi, Garo, and Hindi. The competition is open to the general public. The theme of the competition is “Identity”. Participants can get the entry form from Khasi Book Stall, Synod Market, Mawkhar and Adon Books Corner, Khyndai lad. The last date for submissions of entry forms is July 12.
Financial literacy
The Financial Literacy Centre cum Lead District Manager Office SBI, Nongstoin in collaboration with Nongstoin Social Service Society conducted a financial literacy campaign at Ksehkohlong on Tuesday.
Seminar
The Meghalaya Muaythai Muay Boran Association will conduct its first seminar on June 9 and 10 at Nongrimbah, Laitumkhrah. The seminar will be conducted by Pransenjit Singha, president of World Muaythai Muay Boran organization.
