Party ticket not offered to Rapsang: BJP

SHILLONG: The State BJP has clarified that the party has not offered any nomination to Congress member Mohindra Rapsang as reported in some section of the vernacular media.
In a press statement, BJP Meghalaya Pradesh vice president Ernest Mawrie said that Rapsang is not a primary member of the party.
He reiterated that while people are welcome to join the party, the assurance of allotting tickets for election purpose is the issue to be decided at an appropriate time.
