In pursuit of dreams

Nothing is impossible. Determination and optimism are the keys to open any door that seems impossible. It may be just a hobby, a thing you always love to do, a thing you dedicate your head and heart to but that little thing can turn big, it can leave an impact and can even heal a broken soul. All we need to do is to take each step at a time believing everything is possible.

Life is a bed covered half with roses and other half with thorns. It is on us to choose how to react to the pain and obstacles of life. Sometimes what we love is separated from us and we let it go away. Then we spend the rest of our live regretting. Yes it is of no use crying over spilt milk. When we love something, we should fight for it. Someone said, “I’ve learned that to make dreams come true, you have to be obsessed, truly, utterly obsessed. I think of obsession as a passion for something, people will see that.” We should learn not to give up when obstacles come our way but we should find a way around them. Grath Brooks in one of his songs ‘The River’ says, “I’ll never reach my destination if I never try.”

Therefore, fight for what you love. Do not let anything separate you from what you love. Fight hard with love and optimism and soon you will reach the unreachable star. Bob Dylan said, “Behind every beautiful thing, there’s been some kind of pain.” Their obsession and determination for what they love have made them successful. By success I do not mean owning a mansion, driving expensive cars but owning true happiness and love every moment of our life. Most importantly dare to be different.

“Draw a crazy picture/Write a nutty poem/Sing a mumble-gumble song/Whistle through your comb./Do a loony-goony dance/’Cross the kitchen floor,/Put something silly in the world/That ain’t been there before.” — K. Towne Jr.

Remember the legends of the world, whose name we remember till today, have not walked an easy road but, many doors have been slammed on their face.
