Village body condemn HDR’s statement

SHILLONG: The Synjuk ki Nongsynshar Shnong Ka Bri U Hynniewtrep (SNSBH) slammed the Home Minister HDR Lyngdoh for criticising them as reported in a vernacular paper.
Lyngdoh asserted as to where are the organisations that have all along called for the implementation of the Village Administration Bill (VAB).
In a press statement, RL Blah, general secretary said that they are still following up the issues of MUDA and Village Administration Bill.
Synjuk ki Nongsynshar Shnong Ka Bri U Hynniewtrep will not meddle in the issue of cow slaughter as it is a political issue which is the undertaking of the political parties.
He added that had they taken up the matter, they would also take up the issue of Marvelene’s Inn.
