Reds are through to the finals of the U-18 Shillong Premier League

Shillong Lajong Junior Reds are through to the finals of the U-18 Shillong Premier League after playing a 1-1 draw versus Shillong United FC today in Polo Ground Shillong.

Donbok gave Shillong Lajong the lead in the 43rd minute of the match. He headed the ball into the back of the net from inside the box after an assist from his teammate Phrangki.

Meanwhile, Rudolf Nongneng was on target for Shillong United and leveled the scoreline in the 57th minute of the second half.

The match ended all square and Shillong Lajong Juniors who needed only a point in the game have advanced to the finals with 13 points from 6 games. They will meet Langsning FC on 1st July in the finals of the U-18 Shillong Premier League.
