Accident
On June 22, one scooty (ML-05N-5525) ridden by Bhupen Dev met with an accident at 18th Mile, Byrnihat. As a result, the rider and pillion rider sustained injuries.

Theft
On June 24, unknown miscreants broke into the house of Deba Kr. Sharma at Nongrim Road, Laitumkhrah and stole gold jewellery valued around Rs. 3.5 lakh and one cell-phone.
On June 21, Dilip Kumar Ram of Upper New Colony, Laitumkhrah lodged a complaint that unknown miscreants broke into his house and stole a mobile phone, ATM card and cash Rs. 5,000.
On June 21, unknown miscreants stole 500 metres of JFC cable from Rhino Heritage Museum near Military Hospital, Shillong.
On June 18, Christine Basaiawmoit lodged a complaint that during her absence for the last three months, unknown miscreants broke into her house at Lawsohtun Block-V and stole one LCD TV set, Play Station, etc., valued around Rs. 27,000/-.

Man found lying unconscious
On June 23, one Kopika Sen (72) was found lying unconscious near PWD office at Barik, Shillong and was shifted to Civil Hospital Shillong.

Threatened
On June 12, Arkhon Kyndait of Iongkaluh village (East Jaintia Hills) lodged a complaint that one Balentin Kyndait destroyed his belongings. And on June 20, the accused threatened the complainant with dire consequences.

Truck missing
On June 23, one dumper truck (AS-02AC-6855) driven by Suresh Boro was found missing from Mawkhanu village in East Khasi Hills.

Extortion
On June 14, Weldinglan Jyrwa lodged a complaint that while he was filling fuel in his truck at Nonglang area in South West Khasi Hills, three unidentified miscreants claiming to be members of an NGO in a Tata Sumo (ML-06-5419) demanded Rs. 20,000 from him. However, the complainant paid them Rs. 2,000/- only.
