Ding Ka Jingieit- a Khasi drama based on the legendary tale of Manik Raitong will be telecast on DD Shillong on Sunday at 9 pm.
Kaushal mela
Yuva Vikas Society had recently organised its first Kaushal mela under Pradhan Mantri Kushal Vikash Yojana at Laban. The focus was to spread awareness about job oriented skill training. Sanbor Shullai enouraged the youth to avail the benefits of the Yojana.
RKM cultural programme
Ramakrishna Mission Shillong will organise its 43rd annual cultural competition which includes vocal music, sit and draw, recitation, elocution, debate, quiz and others for nursery to college level students from July 1. The competitions will be held on all Saturdays and Sundays till July 30. Prize distribution ceremony will be held on August 5. Last date for enrolment of the participants is June 20.
Open defecation free
As per ODF Declaration Protocols issued by Government of India, Ministry of Urban Development, the Cantonment Board, Shillong, has fulfilled all conditions and declared Shillong Cantonment open Defecation Free, a notification stated. Objections, if any, may be addressed to the Cantonment Board within 15 days from the issue of this publication.
