WJH transport office gutted

JOWAI: An early morning fire gutted the West Jaintia Hills district transport office on Tuesday.
All documents in a room were destroyed. But the timely response of the fire services men could check the damage to another office room.
Though police are investigating to ascertain the reason behind the fire, employees said short circuit might have been the cause.
