On June 24 around 9 pm, one Dulu Miah asked Minarul Miah to pay his wages. Instead of paying the wages, Minarul Miah and over 30 of his family members assaulted the relatives of Dulu Miah. Two persons, Hasinur Miah and Tara Banu Begum, were injured in the incident which took place at Tungrurchar in South West Garo Hills.
One knocked down
On June 24 around 11 pm, one unknown vehicle knocked down Kol Rymbai (55) at Dkhiah NH-44. The victim sustained injuries and was shifted to CHC Khliehriat PS from where he was referred to Civil Hospital Ialong. The victim was declared brought dead by the MO at CH Ialong.
