Dumping of garbage prohibited

Shillong: The District Magistrate, East Khasi Hills, has promulgated an order under Section 133 CrPC prohibiting dumping of garbage at Umiam view point and along the National Highway (GS Road). Anyone found violating the order will be prosecuted and the vehicles used by the offenders would be confiscated by the authorities.
