Ex-KSU leader held

SHILLONG: A former KSU leader was arrested on Friday for his involvement in the violent protests of May 27 at the railway construction case at Rongkhona in Byrnihat.
Bonifast Lyngkhoi (29) has been charged with rioting and for carrying lethal weapon. He was arrested from Kyrdemkulai in Ri Bhoi district.
Police said raids are on to arrest other miscreants who are involved in different cases of arson in the district.
