SHILLONG: Several electronics shops in Shillong, on Friday, witnessed heavy rush after the announcement of huge discounts on electrical items one day ahead of the GST launch.
However, the retailers said it has no connection with GST. The shops like Bhajanlal, Home Care in Dhankheti witnessed rush.
The shops were full packed by the customers till 8.30 pm, initially the shops have to be closed down due to the huge crowd on Friday night.
