Remains of Army jawan killed in Ukhrul blast brought home in Assam

Guwahati: Mortal remains of Assam Rifles jawan, Biju Sorupuwar who was killed in a blast on June 30 last in Ukhrul  district of Manipur was brought to his native village at Naoboicha in Lakhimpur district of Assam on Sunday. He joined the Army in 2006. His last rites will be carried out later in the day  with full military honour, a defence source informed.
