Competition organised in memory of Friday Lyngdoh

SHILLONG: The North Shillong Block Congress Committee (NBCC) organised an Inter College Vision Meghalaya Presentation Competition in memory of (Late) Friday Lyngdoh, former minister and Congress leader, at Shillong Club on Saturday.
The competition sought views and ideas from the student community on their vision for the State by 2030.
Nine colleges participated in the programme. The participating students gave their presentations on Vision Meghalaya 2030.
Deep Shankar Nath and Ngayaipan A Shimray of St Anthony’s College were awarded the first prize while Shanborlang Sawkmie and Pema Lama from BBS College bagged the second spot.
Chief Advisor to the Government of Meghalaya and MPCC president D D Lapang was the chief guest on the occasion while Health Minister Roshan Warjri was the guest of honour.
