HSPDP unit demands Mawthadraishan MDC’s resignation

SHILLONG: The HSPDP Mawthadraishan Constituency has demanded the resignation of local MDC Blandingstar Warjri who despite winning on a party ticket was “not loyal” to the HSPDP.
In a statement issued to the press on Monday, Grossper Ryntathiang, secretary, HSPDP Mawthadraishan Constituency Area Unit slammed Warjri for not being loyal to the party and its leadership.
Ryntathiang alleged that Warjri did not consult the leaders of the party nor the supporters before “suddenly disappearing on June 19” only to reappear on June 22 when the KHADC session was adjourned sine die.
