Guwahati: Personnel of Assam Rifles engaged in counter-insurgency operation in south Arunachal Pradesh apprehended one NSCN (R) cadre identified as Chawang Wangsa from Mintong village in Longding district of Arunachal Pradesh on Wednesday. A pistol and live ammunition were recovered from his possession. The operation was carried out Longding Battalion of the force, according to a defence source.
