Shillong : Meghalaya Basketball association will be conducting the ‘Meghalaya Open Basketball Championship-2017’for Men and Women with effect from 7th to 12th August 2017. Entry Forms are available at the Office of The District Sports Officer (East Khasi Hills)- J.N Sports Complex, Polo, Shillong. The last Date for submitting the Entries is the 1st August 2017.
Furthermore, in relation with promoting association’s very own State Basketball Players, the Association has adopted a new frame of rules regarding a Team formation for both section (Men & Women). Which is that, a Team should consist not less than 7 (seven) members of the Domiciles of Meghalaya and not more than 5 (five) other members who are not Permanent Residents of the State Also, a minimum number of 3 (three) Domiciles and a maximum number of 2 (two) Non-Permanent Residents are allowed on the Court in all playing time of the entire Match.
The participants have to produce their EPIC Cards/Adhar Cards/PAN Cards/Driving License etc. at the time of submission of Entry Forms.
