Army deployed in Darjeeling

KOLKATA: The army was deployed in West Bengal’s Darjeeling hills on Saturday following a fresh outbreak of violence.
“Two army columns have been deployed – one in Darjeeling, one in Sonada, where one railway station was set afire,” a Defence Ministry spokesman said here. IANS
