SHILLONG: Tailin Lyngdoh, who became a victim of discrimination at Delhi Golf Club, will depose before the Meghalaya State Women Commission on Monday afternoon.
Lyngdoh and her employer, Nivedia Borthakur Sondhi, on July1 met the chairperson of the Commission, Theilin Phanbuh, besides several NGOs and civil society groups seeking their support to take the matter to its logical conclusion.
Two club officials had asked Lyngdoh to leave a luncheon on June 25 because she was wearing Jainsem which, according to them, was “a maid’s dress”.
