GUWAHATI: Centre for Wildlife Rehabilitation and Conservation (CWRC) in Kaziranga, the jointly-run wildlife care facility of Assam Forest Department and International Fund for Animal Welfare (IFAW) and Wildlife Trust of India (WTI) has attended to seventeen hog deer rescued on the present flood crisis in Kaziranga National Park (KNP) on Thursday. Out of which thirteen were released back to the wild. Two were found dead on arrival of the rescue team. And two under care at CWRC.
One male rhino calf aged 3-4 months displaced due to flood was, admitted from Burhapahar Forest Range of Kaziranga National Park on Thursday.
