10K INTENCITY RUN to start from September

Mumbai, Jul 14 (PTI) The first edition of the 10K INTENCITY RUN will be held between September this year and February next year across 10 cities in India, the organisers said today. The announcement was made at an event in presence of Olympian Rachita Mistry by Anand Menezes, ex-Olympian and founder Andy Event Management, which is organising the run. There are three categories – 10 km, 5 km and 2 km and prizes worth Rs 50 lakh will be given. The run will begin from Pune on September 10 and will be followed by Indore, Bhubaneshwar, Hyderabad, Chennai, Bengaluru, Mumbai, Vadodara, Delhi. It will conclude in Goa on February 11, 2018. The organisers had earlier announced that Olympian Anju Bobby George and hockey legend Dhanraj Pillay, athlete Lalita Navarro would remain present today. However, they could not make it due to “personal reasons”. PTI
