SHILLONG: The Ri Umsnam People Alliance, Western Zone (RUPA) has expressed amazement over the manner in which the construction company is carrying out its work in Kynshi area, whereas work by the same company is in good progress from Shillong to Tura road.
The company engaged by the government is BSC-C&C JV.
The organisation alleged that the company worked well in the Shillong-Tura road whereas the road construction in Kynshi is not up to the mark.
In this connection, RUPA has urged the Executive Engineer National Highway to examine the careless construction by the company.
