Liquor consignment catches fire

SHILLONG: A truck carrying Indian Made foreign liquor (IMFL) caught fire in the city after it dashed against an electric pole.
The accident took place on Saturday morning, around 1 am, when one truck (AS-01AC-6645) driven by Arjun Nongsiej and loaded with IMFL, hit an electric pole at Nan Ka Brin, GS Road, Mawlai. The consignment was completely damaged and the driver sustained minor injuries and was shifted to a Hospital.
