Woman cheated of Rs 13 lakh
Laila M Sangma of Nongthymmai, lodged a complaint that between February to December, 2015, three persons, Md. Jainal Abedin, Sona M Sangma and Md. Abdul Satar had sold the woman fake gold worth Rs. 13 lakh.
Accident
On July 16, one scooty (ML-05P-2331) knocked down Morbud Kharkongor (45) at Mylliem (EKH). As a result, victim sustained injuries and was admitted at Nazareth Hospital in the city.

Lalmuanzuala of Nongthymmai, Shillong lodged a complaint that on July 15 morning, unknown miscreants broke into his residence and stole one laptop computer.
Iowanmi Surong lodged a complaint that on July 13, unknown miscreants stole four batteries valued around Rs. 16,400 from an Aircel Tower at Thamer village in West Jaintia Hills.
