SHILLONG: The United Democratic Party (UDP), Garo Hills, has petitioned the Director of Health Services (MI) and Director of Health Services (MCH & FW) with regard to the upgradation of Public Health Center into Community Health Center and creation of Sub-Centers in East Garo Hills.
Arun N Marak, joint secretary of UDP and working president Mahamsing M. Sangma stated that no field inspection was done and the locals were not consulted. They have requested district officers to provide details, views and comments with map of the proposed areas.
